Our Mission
City University Schools will prepare its students with the necessary skills to be twenty-first century scholars and citizens. As college preparatory schools operating as Centers of Excellence for Student Development, City University Schools will provide academically rigorous and socially enriching educational opportunities for its scholars. Upon graduation, these scholars will be better prepared to enter secondary education and college as intellectually sophisticated citizens with vigor for learning.

School Crest
The crest of City University is a visual representation of the philosophy and mission statement upheld by all schools. Each symbol within the crest has a specific meaning:
The Dove of Peace symbolizes the citizenship, innocence, gentleness and tenderness of City University Scholars, which they represent by responsibilities and duties under the social contract they have with their respective school.
The Sextant represents scholars' discovery of new experiences, perspectives and information that will guide them to academic and social successes expected of them at and beyond City University Schools.
The Eternal Flame represents scholars' passion for the possession of knowledge, which burns indefinitely and cannot be moved.
The Shield symbolizes the schools' protectiveness of its scholars and the schools' commitment to help scholars acquire knowledge and values necessary for survival in today's world.
