The 2016 Commencement Exercises of City University School of Liberal Arts took place on the afternoon of May 15 in the Michael D. Rose Theatre at the University of Memphis. More than 900 guests came to celebrate the recognition of 67 scholars, which included 14 scholars who were a part of the founding class of City University School Boys Preparatory.

The Class of 2016's accomplishments include having the highest scholarship amount attained by any senior class (more than $15 million), earning a class total of 8,000 community service hours, and producing seven Million Dollar Scholars.
